WSO2 Identity Server, the 100% Open Source identity management security solution

WSO2 Identity Server is an identity management solution (Identity Access Management, abbreviated IAM) offered by the publisher WSO2.

The identity management needs associated with securing IT access have changed more and more rapidly over the years. The provision of APIs and the integration of partners into the service offering add requirements to this problem. Organizations provide and consume services beyond the internal perimeter. Identity federation makes it possible to go beyond the internal perimeter and extend the border of trust for the management of identities and access. This makes it possible not to have to duplicate identities and makes obsolete the problem of synchronizing these identities between internal system and partner (s).

Identity federation is one of the features of Identity Server.

The product also allows you to set up SSO, or manage user authentication. This tool is based on standards such as SAML, Oauth or even OIDC.
